Dimitris is a Senior Associate and advises major domestic and non-domestic shipping companies, charterers, operators, P&I Clubs and underwriters on a wide range of wet and dry disputes. He specialises in defending unlawful claims by cargo interests and in debt collection, as well as claims arising under the CMR regime.

He has represented insurers and reinsurers in claims arising from revocation of operating licences by the Greek Regulatory Authority. He acts for clients on due diligence for the establishment of foreign companies in Greece as well as incorporation and organisation of Greek companies, finance, taxation, security and competition issues.

Dimitris also advises extensively on the establishment of foreign shipping companies in Greece, as well as the incorporation, structuring and organization of Greek shipping companies, and ancillary finance, taxation, security, real estate and competition issues.

He has a considerable practice advising on commercial and finance contracts, public tenders and the preparation and submission of administrative and judicial objections and appeals to awards of public procurement contracts and tender procedures.

He also advises on sale and purchase, and merger and acquisition, transactions of property assets and prepares due diligence reports either for prospective acquisitions or business proposals.
